The SSI Stress & Rescue Diver course in Phuket is a transformative training experience that takes your diving to the next level. You’ll learn to recognize, prevent, and respond to dive-related stress and emergencies—both for yourself and your fellow divers. This course is not only essential for safety, but it also builds confidence, sharpens your awareness, and prepares you for leadership roles such as SSI Dive Guide or Divemaster.
Taught by our experienced instructors at Phuket Dive Master, the course combines theory, confined water training, and real-world rescue scenarios in open water.

📋 Prerequisites:
Minimum age: 12 years
Minimum certification: Open Water Diver (SSI or equivalent)
Must have a valid First Aid and CPR certification (within 24 months). If not, we offer the SSI React Right course as a combined option.

📆 Course Schedule (3 Days):
Day 1: Theory & Confined Water
Orientation and theory sessions (online or in-person)
Stress recognition and prevention techniques
Confined water exercises: self-rescue, assisting tired and panicked divers
Day 2: Rescue Scenarios & Techniques
Shore or boat dive with skill practice
Surface and underwater rescue simulations
Towing, exit techniques, dealing with unconscious divers
Day 3: Open Water Scenarios & Certification
Full rescue scenarios under instructor supervision
Search patterns, missing diver procedures
Course review, debriefing, and certification
Note: Course can be personalized or extended depending on conditions or student progress.
🌊 Location:
Training dives will be conducted at local Phuket beaches (like Kata, Ao Sane, or Merlin Beach) or on boat day trips to sites like Racha Yai or Koh Doc Mai, depending on the chosen package.
